The award-winning Orchestra are regarded as one of the finest in the UK, bringing international recognition to our region. With their own orchestral series in Kirklees, regular performances in Huddersfield and Dewsbury, as well as concert performances in Leeds, Newcastle and other major series they are sure to take Sheffield by storm The Orchestra’s condu ctor Richard Farnes is one of the UKs finest and is in demand at home and abroad for his interpretations of the opera repertoire.

Soloists Jean Rigby and Peter Hoare who both appear regularly as soloists with Opera North and with opera companies across the world will also appear on the night.
