The performance is the latest in Century FM s series of Intimate and Exclusive gigs and coincides with the Hard Rock Cafe s Rocktober global live music events series. The event is being held in aid of the Caron Keating Foundation, a charity that offers financial support to people (and their families) faced with cancer. Tickets for listeners are being given away on-air via a text mechanic when a WWW song is a played.

The band, which will be performing publicly at the MEN Arena on 5 December, will be playing some old classics alongside new material from their latest album Timeless including the new single Too Many People. Last month Century staged a private gig with the Proclaimers at Manchester s Academy.
