Fundraisers for the week
Pioneer Bowl Spaghetti Dinner, sponsored by the Tumwater Rotary Club, will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Tumwater High School commons area. Cost is $5 per person, and proceeds will help provide scholarships for graduating Tumwater and Black Hills High School students. “Dentists Go Broadway,” a benefit concert for the Olympia Gospel Mission’s no-fee dental clinic, featuring music by the Olympia Jazz Senators, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St. S.E., Olympia. Tickets are $20.50 and $24.50, and are available by going to www.washingtoncenter.org, or by calling 360-753-8586. Toast for Tails Wine Tasting Even and Silent Auction, will benefit Concern For Animals of Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties. The event will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Thurston County Fairgrounds Expo Center, 3054 Carpenter Road S.E., Olympia.
Tickets range in price from $15-$25, and are only available at the door beginning at 11 a.m. Day of the Dead, a benefit concert sponsored by Earthbound Productions and The Community Sustaining Fund of Thurston County, will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Eagles Ballroom, 805 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia. Tickets are $12 in advance, and can be purchased at Traditions Fair Trade or Rainy Day Records, or $15 at the door. Please bring a donation for the YWCA’s Other Bank.
Call 360-956-0344 for additional information. Boys and Girls Clubs presents “Born to be Wild,” auction and event, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Great Wolf Lodge, in Grand Mound. Items to be auctioned include a three-night stay in San Francisco, a Sun Vally Ski Extravaganza, an Oregon Winery Tour and a Brandon Dunes Golf Trip.
