Actually, you can. Some orchestras have yet to jump on the pops bandwagon. There are classical musicians who take an elitist view that playing movie soundtracks and popular songs are beneath them. They’re in the minority. Google “pops series symphonies” and prepare to be surprised. It’s a long, long list.
