Monday, the Public Theater revives its new play reading series, Public Exposure, with “Harry’s Friendly Service” by Rob Zellers , popular, longtime education director and co-author of “The Chief.” It follows a family through the decline of the steel industry in Zellers’ hometown, Youngstown. Ted Pappas directs Bridget Carey, Alex Coleman, Edward James Hyland, Daniel Krell, Larry John Myers, John Shepard, Philip Stephenson and Terry Wickline . The free 7 p.m.

reading is on the Public’s mainstage (the “Comedy of Errors” set will provide a lively contrast); reservations are suggested at 412-316-1600.
