COMEDY CENTRAL’s “The Last Word: Dewey Cox” is a spoof on celebrity profile programs. In this show, John Hodgman (”The Daily Show”) plays a faux- journalist who specializes in interviewing famous people right before they die. In “The Last Word: Dewey Cox,” Hodgman sits down with legendary musician Dewey Cox and the key people in his life, including his wives and band members, to get a portrait of the artist and his unparalleled career.

They also muse about the new film version of Cox’s life, “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story” starring John C. Reilly. Sony’s “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story” opens in theaters on December 21.
