Hmm, could this be the REAL reason for his not having children, rather than this journalist’s speculation of something sadder ? sara, London, Why shoud there be ‘a sadder explanation’ for the reason behind Gervais and his girlfriend not wanting children? Maybe they simply don’t want - like some of the rest of us - the hassle, expense and inconvenience children bring. Not to mention the overcrowded planet.
