My name is Cemal Atila and I am running a dance school based here in Istanbul. Beside Latin, Turkish and Flamenco dances, we mainly focus on Greek folk dances with concerns to learn and teach Greek folk dances in their most original form. Beside technical lessons, we organize regular Greek dance nights every Friday and Saturday nights so that our students can practice what they learn. dances and every weekend we organize Greek Dance nights.

We also take part at various dance festivals and cultural events as a Greek dance ensemble. Over the years we have been known as a place symbolizing the Greek culture, especially Greek music and dance here in Istanbul. In recent times we are being constantly disturbed by some unknown sources whom, we think, belong to Turkish nationalist and racist circles.

Besides swearing and threatening mail messages, our website (www.sirtaki.org) has been hacked today, a second time in three months by Turkish hackers. (We attach screen pics of the two hacks).
