There’s always something going on at the Shore

Tonight, East Rutherford rockers Maybe Pete play The Twisted Tree Cafe in Asbury Park. Consisting of husband-wife duo Frankie (vocals/guitar) and Kelly McGrath (guitar), Marc Gambino (bass) and Johnny Macko (drums), Maybe Pete has garnered six seperate nominations at this year’s Asbury Music Awards. Upstairs, downstairs Phedonia will play tonight at The Upstairs Room at Giamano’s Restaurant in Bradley Beach. Staples at jazz and blues festivals throughout New Jersey, modern soul/R&B outfit Phedonia can be found playing to the laid-back crowds of The Upstairs Room at least once a month, according to Giamano’s owner Rhonda Manno. The performance starts at 8 p.m., and admission is free. Giamano’s is at 301 Main St. in Bradley Beach.
