Arturo O’Farrill Pays Tribute To Classic, Contemporary Jazz With His Different Projects

“Ii think it’s going to be bigger, not bigger because of people or finances, but vision because we’re starting out on our own,” said O’Farrill. “Our programming is going to be more inclusive. There’s a certain expectation at Lincoln Center. I think for us we’re not going to just deal with the cannon, the greats, we’re really going to experiment. We’re going to play really great music that was written especially for the continuation of this art form. We’re going to commission more.
