How to get classical music

Like many classical music lovers, I was terribly disappointed that Vermont Public Radio moved its classical music to a few weak stations, none of which I can receive. When I called VPR to complain, they suggested I purchase an HD radio, which I discovered costs at least $200. They also suggested I could plug the audio output of my computer and listen to VPR Classical that way. In trying this, I discovered 47 other radio stations devoted to classical music.

The best part was that most of them have none of the meaningless commentary of VPR Classical. Just music. And all this for a $4.95 cable from Radio Shack. Although unintended, I am grateful to Vermont Public Radio for providing me with the music I love.
