All of it came, of course, with Disney’s safely rounded edges: sunshiny songs performed by a polished four-piece band and a limber cast of eight dancers. There’s a bright sassiness to Miley’s Hannah Montana persona, and a bit of bite to her real-life act, which played out the show’s final stretch. But the festive show, with its cleanly lined musical arrangements and vivid colors, was free of any rock ‘n’ roll cynicism.

It was the kind of concert that dotted its I’s with big circles and crossed its T’s with a perky flourish.
