Wilton Kiwanis’ ‘Home for the Holidays’ concert is tomorrow
The Wilton High School Madrigal Singers, comprised mainly of juniors and seniors, will delight the audience with a potpourri of festive numbers. Also representing the high school will be the Bottom Line, a four-year-old ensemble of young men. These talented groups are directed by Betsey de Groff, who recently moved from Santa Monica to take the choral position here. Betsey brings many years of choral experience and has conducted festival choirs in New England, Florida, Wisconsin and California.
She has served as a clinician/adjudicator for many state and regional festivals, and at competitions for Music Maestro Please Inc. in New England, Canada, and California. Her peers in Maine voted her Outstanding Choral Director of the Year in 1998. She is an accomplished singer and private voice teacher.
