This year, the performance will feature songs and dances from each decade, beginning with the swing and big band sounds of the 1930s and ’40s, move through Rock ‘n’ Roll of the 1950s and ’60s; and disco from the 1970s. For the ’80s, the group will do tributes to the band Queen and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” “They are going through a timeline,” Ms. Smith said. “(they will perform) Michael Jackson and they are doing some Van Halen. It is going to be a great show. It is very entertaining.

You don’t have to bring a lot of brainpower to it. It is going to be a fun night.” The director said the sounds of Broadway will wrap up the evening. “We will end up with the latest music from the Broadway and film musicals ‘Rent’ and ‘Hairspray,’” she said.
