‘Taking house music to another level’ By Mphikeleli Msibi ALL is set for Saturday’s show featuring South African DJs Euphonik and Kent at House On Fire. Roots Rock Director Vusi Zwane said everything pertaining to the event had been finalised. “We have since finalised everything concerning the show and I am sure it will be one of the best with the SA spinners promising nothing but only the best,” said Zwane. He stated that admission to the show is E70, payable at entrance.
“We have done all the necessary preparations for the event and all spinners are ready to prove their worth,” said Zwane. He added that the two SA spinners (Euphonik and Kent) will be battling against Wicked Handz and Crooks. “The four will be doing it against each other and at the same time entertaining fun lovers with their vibrant tracks,” Zwane added. Zwane said the show would also feature local spinners in the likes of Papz and Zoй.
This means all music lovers would be catered for as the spinners would be playing different kinds of music genres ranging from hip/hop, house and a deep house. “All spinners have already confirmed their participation and ready for their performances,” Zwane said. He further said they hoped this would be a great show and certainly one of their greatest this year. “We have everything on paper as the artist has signed a contract for the show,” he added.
Zwane urged all music lovers looking for real fun to come in their numbers and should be clad in clothes that would allow them to dance freely on the dance floor, “as we are going to rock them the whole night with our good music.” “Forget about formal wear because it is not going to be necessary,” he said, further emphasising that security would be tight and there would be enough parking space.
