The third of Wright’s musical labors will be the performance on Wednesday evening of the Gannon University Concert Band. You didn’t know that Gannon had a concert band? Well, now is the time to make its acquaintance. The concert has a holiday theme and a ticket price that shouldn’t eat into your Best Buy budget. Like all three events this week, admission is free. ‘Sing-Along Christmas Concert’ will be presented Friday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 130 E. Fourth St.

Appearing will be the Erie Chamber Orchestra, directed by Bruce Morton Wright, and the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul Children’s Choir, directed by Sharon Harrington Downey. It’s free and open to the public.
