TransJazz, a contemporary gospel-recording group with a smooth jazz sound, will be performing with Ms. Moore. The group originated in the mid-1980s with a unique style of music that has since appealed to people across generations both inside and outside the church. EBL Records released their debut CD album, “Transitions,” in 2004. The CD features their talented young singer, Vanessa Daley Johnson, along with guest artist Meg Okura, Ron Brown, and Ragan Whiteside.

With a unique style described as “Sade turned on to Jesus,” songs from the album have been featured on radio stations around the country. TransJazz was nominated for an Urban Gospel Industry Music Award in 2004 and 2005.
