Christ Church holds ‘creepy’ concert

As a conductor and continuo player, Mr. Kennerly has worked with several orchestras and ensembles in New York, London and Cambridge on works that include Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky s First Symphony, Ludwig van Beethoven s Ninth Symphony, Mr. Mozart s Requiem and Igor Stravinsky s ballet The Rake s Progress. As a repetiteur and chorus master, he has prepared performances of Mr.

Handel s Serse, Gustav Mahler s Third Symphony (performed at London s Barbican Centre under Sir Simon Rattle) and Benjamin Britten s opera The Turn of the Screw, currently playing at Glyndebourne, England, among others. He is accompanist to Pro Arte, Fairfield County s only professional concert choir, and Greenwich Choral Society. He enjoys contemporary music, and has been involved in the premieres of works by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Judith Bingham and Gabriel Jackson.
