FERNLEY—Area schools announces their holiday music concert schedule. “ўFernley High School is holding its Music Holiday Concert on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. “ўCottonwood Elementary School will hold a Christmas Program on Wednesday (Dec. 12) for Kindergarten students at 5 p.m.; 1st grade at 6 p.m. and second grade at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. “ўFernley Elementary School will hold a Music Concert on Thursday (Dec. 13) for 1st-2nd grade school students at 6:30 p.m.

and then for 3rd-4th grade students at 7:30 p.m. “ўFernley Intermediate School will hold a Choir Concert on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m., and then a Band Concert on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. The FIS Drama Club’s annual winter production, “Captain Bree, Scourge of the Sea,” is scheduled for December 20 at 7 p.m. in the FIS gym. The production is open to the public. Tickets are $1. The stage play is an action comedy about a group of lady pirates and their mishaps and adventures.

During intermission, the Drama Club will offer concessions with all proceeds going to the Club to help raise funds to replace the old curtains on the stage at FIS. “ўEast Valley Elementary School will hold its Christmas Concert on Dec. 20 for students in 4th and 5th grade at 7 p.m. The school will also hold a Christmas Sing-a-long, in the multi-purpose room at 9 a.m. Parents are invited to attend.
